AMVN Exchange will conduct a variety of pre-event marketing campaigns to generate interest in each host city. This includes outdoor advertising via large banners and posters; in-school advertising at area high schools; e-marketing campaigns; and print advertising in local publications.
AMVN Exchange has established connections with many high schools in Vietnam, and starting in August will inform English teachers and counselors at these partner schools about the upcoming fair. Teachers will present this information to their classes and students, and distribute printed marketing materials for students to take home to their parents. In some schools, AMVN Exchange will be able to hang posters and banners advertising the event.
E-marketing campaigns are conducted in more than 30 different online forums used by Vietnamese students. The campaigns include digital fliers, forum posts, banner advertisements, and direct contact via e-mail and social networking.
Outdoor advertising will take place during the final two weeks leading up to the event, when large banners (8 meters x 1 meter) will be hung across streets near the venue and posters will be posted throughout the city.
Counselors at AMVN Exchange's two Vietnamese offices (Hanoi and Ho Chi Minh City) will promote the fairs in-office at weekly "U.S. Education Information" seminars conducted weekly. AMVN Exchange representatives working in Quang Ninh and Da Lat will inform parents and families in their network of the event as well.
U.S. representatives can expect an excellent mix of students to attend each fair. The most highly prospective students will be those that AMVN Exchange's U.S. Education Counselors have worked with in the months leading up to the event. These students will already know about the participating U.S. schools, and will come with their families prepared to ask questions and move toward a final decision.
