Hanoi

Hanoi is the capital of Vietnam and its second largest city, with a population of nearly 6.5 million people. It is projected to be one of the fastest growing cities in the world in terms of GDP in the coming decade. It is home to almost two-thirds of the country’s scientists and many of the country’s major universities, including the first Western-style universities in Indochina. Over 800 students attended the Education Opportunity Fair in Hanoi last year. Four of our students are now studying in the United States, with more than twenty in the process of applying.

Hai Phong

Hai Phong is the third largest city in Vietnam, with a population of over 1.8 million people. It is a major transportation hub, serving as the primary seaport for northern Vietnam and being connected by rail or road to the capital, key mining and tourist sites, and southern China. It has attracted large foreign direct investment, fueling rapid economic growth. Over 500 students attended the Education Opportunity Fair in Hai Phong last year. Three of our students are now studying in the United States, with more than fifteen in the process of applying.

Ha Long

Ha Long is the capital city of Quang Ninh Province, with a population of over 185,000 people. The city is located along the famous Ha Long Bay, one of Vietnam’s most prominent tourist attractions, and is set to achieve even greater prominence with the construction of a major highway linking northern Vietnam to southern China. Over 1000 students attended the Education Opportunity Fair in Ha Long last year. Four of our students are now studying in the United States, with more than twenty-five in the process of applying.

Da Nang

Da Nang is the fourth largest city in Vietnam, with a population of over 887,000 people. It is the center of commerce, transportation, and education in central Vietnam. It is one of the country’s major seaports and hosts one of Vietnam’s three international airports. It is also home to five major universities, more than ten other colleges, and numerous high schools.

Ho Chi Minh City

Ho Chi Minh City is the largest city in Vietnam, with a population of over 7.1 million people. Formerly known as Saigon, it is a major cultural site and the economic center of the country, accounting for 20% of the country’s GDP and 35% of foreign direct investment. It is home to more than 80 universities and colleges, as well as several English language schools following international curricula.
